Antiques Curio or Quiz Evening
An Antiques Curio event, which is an excellent addition to a drinks reception, lunch or evening meal, provides enthusiastic interaction amongst guests and a memorable edge to any dinner event. Guests will delight at the range of wonderful antiques presented to them and will be thoroughly engaged by the rich knowledge of our antiques expert. Clients can enjoy a combination of the below options to challenge guests and provide a unique talking point for the evening.

Option 1 – Antiques Curio Quiz
A certain amount of strange, unidentifiable antique objects are placed on every table during the course of dinner. Each table must first choose a team name (points awarded for creativity!) and then decipher the following from each object: What is it? What is the value? How old is it?
Answers are recorded by the team captain (who is elected on each table) on personalized answer cards which are produced specifically for your event. After a selection of curios are identified, answer cards are collected, and prize winning table announced. Our antiques host will reveal all in his short, fun and witty speech to the audience. Ideal for senior management and those looking for a sophisticated evening of entertainment.
Option 2 – Antique Auction
A selection of photographs/items are shown and teams must work out what they believe the item was sold for at auction. They must then set their price and bid for it at auction. After twelve lots, the winners will be the team with the least overall difference in price.
