Entertaining at the Cricket

Team Tactics ran a really very special event last week with guest speaker Sir Richard Hadlee giving his views on cricket and the test match, England v New Zealand.
We had some terrific feedback from some of our clients and hoping to get more.

Here is what our event manager Hellen wrote:

Breakfast with Sir Richard Hadlee was an intimate gathering held at the prestigious Landmark Hotel where the surroundings are opulent and the staff service absolutely first class.
From 08.00 guests started arriving and by 08:30 most of the attendees were tucking into a hearty breakfast from the superb selection of hot and cold items the Landmark had set-up. Sir Richard spent time on each of the tables having one to one discussions on the finer points of cricket before delivering a humorous and informative talk. A question and answer session ended the morning at 10:00 with our guests then taking one of the superb Westway Coaches thank you to Harry the driver who was lovely! – to Lords Cricket Ground.
The rain didn’t seem to dampen anyone’s spirits and all who had attended seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had been honoured to spend time with a truly superb sportsman and his wife.

And here is a comment from one of our clients:

Dear Tina

Veling as well as Uday and I would personally like to thank team Tactics and you for giving providing us with an opportunity to meet and interact with Sir Richard and the charming Lady Dianne. It was also wonderful to meet Hellen at last! (we have been speaking on phone!). You certainly have a great team.

Sharing the same table with the Hadlees was certainly a huge high for us (Thanks Hellen!) and gave us a unique opportunity for a one-on-one with Sir Richard. It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning where along with excellent breakfast fare, we could share our love for ‘The Game’ with other equally passionate people and enjoy the many humorous quips and interesting events in the life of a legend like Sir Richard Hadlee. To put it very simply ‘our day was made’. Uday’s daughter Aarti too enjoyed the event and being the only youngster in the group, she was in conversation with Lady Dianne at times.

We missed you at the event!
