The August bank holiday is now finished and it’s back to work.
I seem to have lots of appointments this week with clients. Sadly though we will be saying goodbye to Rory who has decided he wants to spend the year travelling the world with Cat his girlfriend. He will be sorely missed by clients and everyone here….but wish him the very best. Come back soon!!!!
On Wednesday we have another client meeting at their chosen venue, The Silver Sturgeon for staff Christmas party for the end of November. They will be meeting all the suppliers for this very busy corporate event, which includes a production and lighting company, entertainment agent for all the Brazilian Carnival entertainment, fabric supplier for all the pillars around the boat to be decorated, the venue staff itself and Hellen and I. There has been quite a bit of hand holding for this event and this will be the 3rd or 4th meeting to date. I suppose this is a new venture for them and we have to build up the trust with them, which we will, and hopefully can build on this.
On Thursday I am meeting a couple of existing clients but new personnel within the companies to hopefully establish team tactics firmly as a leading event management company who they can trust and work with on their client entertainment activities, team days out and incentive events.
Finally we have a new client (German Stock Exchange) who are taking a large group to our fabulous event at Buckingham Palace. I am 100% certain they will be WOW’ed by this event as it doesn’t fail to hit the mark. I am showing them their venue for the dinner which is at Mosimann’s private dining club.
Quite a busy day so far in terms of business being booked. We have a large investment bank in London who have made some redundancies but want to keep staff morale high and have booked four lots of circus training events over September and October.
Also a walking clue trail (team tactics takeaway Treasure Hunt) has been booked by a large oil company for THIS week (nothing like last minute) and finally a booking for 50 persons for a multi activity day in Warwick. So good start all in all.
