NBJ are one of Team Tactics oldest clients going back since the day we started and yesterday saw another successful event at Foxhills go smoothly for our client.
As ever, I dig out my NBJ polo shirt, the day before (yes the one that is on the large size!), pack my car with Fortnum & Masons gifts, sizeable scoreboard, golf balls etc and whizz across to Foxhills Golf Resort the night before. This year, I was pleasantly surprised to see all the scaffolding and building works completed at Foxhills and what is left is a stunning resort, offering golf, tennis, fabulous spa, stunning hotel all kitted out with the latest gadgets and gizmos.
Having had a delightful dinner with NBJ and a few of their guests, I finally finish off some details for the next day, having been promised sun, sun, sun which could be one of the main criteria out of our control to make a really successful golf day.
Up and working by 6.45am, there is always lots to do. The golf day opens from 08.00am with bacon rolls, fresh fruit, tea and coffee before the shot gun start at 09.30am. I do feel part of the day as the faces I see each year are often the same and all the NBJ team are the same smiley faces.
Although Rebecca from NBJ says she wouldn’t know what to do without me, she is as ever the professional by my side, knowing the names of the guests arriving etc and we make a pretty good team throughout the day. We offer our own girlie prizes out as we analyse the each team players, their skill and well….good looks!!!
The day was, as ever, a huge success for NBJ. Here is just a quick email that was in my inbox this morning from one of their clients….
”Just a little note to say thank you for a really enjoyable day at Foxhills yesterday and for your hospitality on Tuesday evening. I have been to several golf day over the years and I can assure you that yours, by far, is the most well organised that I have attended – all credit to Rebecca & Tina.”
Makes me very happy! Roll on the next corporate golf day!
PS Still some last minute hospitality at the Golf Openat Turnberry this year, though do move a fast!
