Case Study – Corporate Sailing Regatta (Gillamor Stephens)

Gillamor Stephens, a leading Executive recruitment company in the EMEA region, tasked Team Tactics with organsing a full day of entertainment, hospitality and activity as part of their annual staff event. Previously they’d taken part in our Ocean treasure Hunt and loved the sea element and so our first thought was a corporate sailing regatta. Sailing regattas are fantastic for offering both an exciting and high end event for clients and the hands on element promotes interaction and communication between participants.

We offer full event management at Team Tactics and so also organised lunch on the Isle of Wight at Mojacs – an à la Carte licensed restaurant as recommended in the Good Food Guide – as well as accommodation at the stylish Stanwell House in Lymington. We’re all about supplier and client relationships at Team Tactics and so were extremely pleased when Stanwell House offered a complimentary room upgrade for Gillamour Stephens’s MD!

As part of their corporate sailing regatta Gillamour Stephens enjoyed breakfast on board their yachts after departing the Lymington Yacht Haven before then learning the ropes, guided by our professional skippers. After their lunch at Mojacs the two yachts chartered by Gillamour Stephens were put to use when the teams took part in a series of races.

We were over the moon when Gillamor Stephens came back to us with a perfect score on our feedback form! You can see the comments below from Gillamor Stephens.

“This is the second year we have worked with Team Tactics for our summer event and we certainly were not disappointed! A huge thank you to the whole team, Tina, Hellen, Keighley for helping organise such a great day and taking care of every aspect (even perfect weather conditions)!

Team Tactics go that extra bit to make sure the day runs smoothly and everyone is having a great time. We had such a wonderful day out on the water and we are all looking forward to next year’s event. Thank you from all at Gillamor Stephens.”
