This is the Goodwood Revival, where British motor racing rolls back the years to the 1950’s and 60’s era’s of classic motor racing. The Goodwood Revival weekend is not only the world’s largest classic motor racing event but a huge celebration of all things retro with a host of entertainment embracing the spirit of the era.
Classic Car Motor Racing
Motor racing enthusiasts can look forward to a seeing a treasure trove of classic cars in action, including the Alfa Romeo Giulia GT Coupe, Mini Cooper S and Lotus Cortina (all three celebrating their 50th anniversaries this year) as well as Jaguar Mk2, BMW 1800 TiSA and Ford Galaxie 500,plus many rarely-seen period racing saloons, including a Fiat 1500, Vauxhall VX4/90, and ultra-scarce Isuzu Bellett. For racing fans, the sight of these lovingly polished cars gleaming on the start line is a joy to behold.

However Goodwood Revival is about far more than just the cars, it is a leap back in time with this classic era fully recreated in its nostalgic glory. Competitors and enthusiasts alike don period clothing and even the ambulances and recovery vehicles reflect the retro style.
Racegoers can look forward to a whole weekend of entertainment with a classic car show, vintage fashion shows, cookery demonstrations, period style fun fairs, auctions and Champagne bars.
