We are now at the end of the summer season and people are coming back from well earned holidays and soon the nights will be getting longer and Autumn and the Christmas season will be upon us. Did you know Selfridges opened its Christmas department on August 2nd this year, a bit too early for some you might think but great marketing to all the foreign visitors to Oxford Street this summer. Our mission is to plan ahead, in our last blog we talked about our Blue chip international clients wanting to launch next years incentive before the end of August, well it’s all done the staff know what it is and motivation over the cold months ahead is guaranteed.

When it comes to our plans for the next few months the creative juices within the Barn have been working overtime. This year we have numerous ways for you to entertain clients and key staff. New for 2014 is a real Christmas cracker.. Champagne reception in the Penthouse of the Hampshire Hotel followed by a Carol service in St Martin in The Fields in Trafalgar Square, congregational singing and then back to the Penthouse for a three course Christmas  feast, a different option but one that is attracting a lot of attention.

The Rugby World Cup comes to England in the Autumn of 2015 and all the main Southern Hemisphere teams will be in Europe for this years QBE autumn internationals and we have some fantastic packages to suit all budgets, England came close to beating The kiwis last Autumn. Can Stuart Lancaster and his team go one better this November?

English cricket is on the up at last after the disinter that was the Ashes in Australia last winter, a great series victory over India and England now have months of one day internationals till they start Test matches again in April next year, what a disappointment for some of our clients who had booked hospitality for the fourth day for of the last two tests! Next summer sees the arrival of the old foe again with The Ashes 2015, these tickets will be guaranteed to be going fast with full houses on every day. There are two tests in London the second test at Lords, the Mecca for any Cricket enthusiast the final test yet again at The Oval. If you have not been to either venue it is something not to be missed.

Finally for the horse racing enthusiasts we are delighted to say that we will be at Cheltenham again next March and have a number of first class facilities available. There is nothing like the roar as the horses jump the final flight of hurdles and head for the winning post.
