The Haka is a type of ancient Māori war dance traditionally used on the battlefield, as well as when groups came together in peace. Haka are a fierce display of a tribe’s pride, strength and unity. Actions include violent foot-stamping, tongue protrusions and rhythmic body slapping to accompany a loud chant. Would you like to learn how to do this? Now you can with an exciting Haka Workshop!
What is The Haka Team Building?
Our authentic Māori tribesmen are one of only two groups in the UK. They have permission from their Tribal Elders in New Zealand to use the Haka for team building corporate purposes. It turns out that our lead instructor is from the tribe that wrote the famous Ka Mate Haka. For those of you that don’t know what that is, it is the Haka that the All Blacks use! These guys don’t mess around they have been involved with prestigious events and they have worked with Prince Harry!
