Back To The Office! How To Reintroduce The Team?

We have spent over three months away from our teams. During this time we have had to adapt to working from home and away from our colleagues. It has, at times been an enjoyable experience working from home with a great work life balance, but it is time to get back into the office. Working with the team over Zoom does not have the same effect as being there in person. We have looked at all of our events and found the best six that will be perfect for the team after being apart for a long time.

After being away from each other for a while, the first couple of weeks may feel strange. It is key to talk to your staff about how they feel about returning to the office and be sure to make them aware of the changes that have been made to keep them safe. Be sure to keep them updated to the new process companies may have put into place. Some workers may feel anxious about returning, they may feel social and mental pressures. You may want to put your staff on a phased return or even rotate your teams. It is best to start with the people who show an interest in returning first.

Once you and your colleagues are happy with the steps that have been into place a Team Building activity is a great way to get teams communicating with each other and get them motivated.  Team building has many benefits, below are our best five for reintroducing the team after so long away. We have included a mixture of virtual and live events; all our events are safe and processes have been put into place as your safety comes first.
