Nothing comes close to the excitement and fun of a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boats) treasure hunt. Our fleet of matched 8 metre ribs powered by 225HP engines are capable of stunning speeds and yet ultimately controllable in all sea states.
Our Ocean Treasure Hunts are a memorable day out of the office, providing guests with a thrilling experience that they’ll remember for years to come! Teams must plan their strategy for navigating to various locations on the Solent and points will be awarded at these locations based on teamwork and creativity.
We can tailor this event to be run with a team building emphasis or as a client event and our aim is always for ultimate enjoyment matched with safety. We run our Ocean Treasure Hunts with fully qualified and experienced skippers who’ll guide and tutor guests to ensure they get the best from their event.
Seeing a line of identical sparkling clean RIBS travelling at up to 44 knots is a thrill and watching your colleagues alongside in their RIBS is truly an exciting experience. This adrenaline fuelled team event is suitable for groups of between 10 and up to 56 and can be run as either a half or full day event.

After a relaxed breakfast at the Yacht Haven Marina in Lymington, allowing guests to enjoy the superb views of the Western Solent, it’s off to the moorings to ‘kit up’ for the Sea. Teams are then board our 8-seater RIB’s and equipped with maps, charts, logbook, stopwatches, Polaroid cameras, and a ‘Bribery Fund’.
We then head out into the Solent whilst each team plans its strategy during the ‘buoy to buoy navigation’. At each location, the teams compete for points, which are skewed heavily towards those who show both teamwork and creativity. The photographs are particularly important as are the various home made items that teams will need to have ready for the final prize giving – an event not to be missed!

Good fun and well organised
Great team building event – good fun, well organised, good use of tech, great location and even good weather (for October !) ! And gave my overseas visitors a good experience of an area of London that they would not normally see!
This event delivered on everything
When I initially looked at the different options for events this honestly wasn’t my first option but decided to do this as we wanted something a little different.
This event delivered on everything, everyone loved every part of it and 2 weeks on are still talking about the event. Definite hit with staff.

Great event
Great event, it is a shame the weather turned on us at the very end but that couldn’t dampen our spirits after the great day we had.

Well, to start with, how on earth are we going to top this next year!
From start to finish, the event was absolutely amazing. The accommodation was first class, the food, the venue’s, the level of service, all were outstanding.
Team Tactics managed to give an experience that our staff will never forget. Some of the comments they have offered are: awesome, memorable, exhilarating, thrilling, magical, amazing – the list goes on!
A massive thank you to Melissa who managed to organise completely everything right down to the smallest detail.

Everything on the day was perfect, perfect weather, perfect sea conditions, perfectly run day and perfect drivers! The food was excellent and the Pimms at the end of the day was exactly what we needed!
