The Dragon's Apprentice - Christmas Edition

What to Expect:

1. The Great Object Battle: Teams will first compete to choose the best product from a selection of weird and wonderful household objects. Each team must come up with an alternative use for their chosen item.
2. The Creative Pitch: With their new invention in mind, teams will have 30 minutes to prepare a compelling 3-minute pitch. The pitch should highlight the product’s new use, accompanied by a catchy slogan and a creative logo.
3. The Random Keyword Challenge: Adding to the fun, each team will be given a ridiculously random keyword that must be seamlessly integrated into their pitch. For example, incorporating the word ‘Potato’ into a serious business pitch can be hilariously tricky! Other teams can guess the keyword during the pitch to earn bonus points.
4. The Christmas Twist: To keep the holiday spirit alive, the pitched item must be a suitable Secret Santa present or this year’s top-selling Christmas gift. Teams will need to consider the festive appeal of their product.
5. The Judgement: Pitches will be judged by fellow colleagues and the Team Tactics events team based on the credibility of the product, its unique selling points (USP’s), and the overall quality and creativity of the pitch.
