This is the perfect Christmas event if you are looking to do something completely different to your standard out of office meal. Team Tactics has designed a fantastically festive Christmas treasure hunt based in central London. Ideal for a Christmas office party or simply to enjoy an afternoon out of the office to get your team into the festive spirit. Teams will have the chance to explore the magnificent sights and sounds that London has to offer at this most wonderful time of year!

An iPad mini will be given to each team, complete with an interactive map, live scoreboard & instant messaging service, this will help teams navigate themselves around the hot spots which a packed with a festive frenzy of hilarious photo and video challenges, general Christmas trivia questions and location specific tasks. Using GPS technology, the iPad will only reveal the questions when the team is located close to the hot spot, providing an exciting race against time activity in the heart of central London at Christmas.

Teams will also be able to see where the appointments are on the interactive map, adding an extra competitive twist! The whole activity is Christmas themed and teams even get to pass several London landmarks along the way as the capital is transformed into a winter wonderland.

The Ultimate Festive Challenge

Each team will be equipped with their own iPad Mini loaded with our unique treasure hunt app. Teams must use their iPad to navigate around the city to unlock various tasks at different locations using GPS technology to verify your location! The hunt can last between 1.5 and 3 hours and is perfect for groups of 12 plus. Guests can then return to a chosen wine bar or cosy pub for a presentation of the hilarious photos taken throughout along with the prize giving and results. Its easy to see why this is our most popular Christmas event!

Scrooge’s Scavenger Hunt

Have you what it takes to score well in our unique Christmas-themed Scavenger Hunt? Just like Scrooge himself, you and your team’s thriftiness, negotiation skills and planning and time management skills will be put to the test, with teams tasked to find Christmas gifts at the lowest price.

Items required will all be Christmas themed, but with each team’s interpretation. Hilarious, interesting items are often purchased!

Each team will be given a cash budget and the latest iPad Mini in order to bag the best festive bargains. Teams will be marked on the accuracy of the items, what discounts they got and proof of this! Time is money so teams need to be on form with this challenging and fast-paced Christmas activity!

The Christmas Cook-off Treasure Hunt

(Approx. 6 hours) You and your team will kickstart the day with a glass of prosecco or mulled wine upon arrival, followed by the ultimate Christmas baking challenge. With a professional chef, you will have a creative and technical challenge for each team including festive treats such as Yule Log, Mince Pies and Christmas Chocolates.

Use your culinary creativity to make something fit for St Nicholas himself.  

Then it’s time to dine, enjoying your festive feast. Sit, relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour with a selection of sweet treats, teas and coffees plus a glass of wine for everyone to enjoy. Guests will also be able to take away any remaining treats with them in boxes. The experience is then followed by a magical GPS Christmas treasure hunt around London. Solve Christmas clues and complete challenges around London’s iconic landmarks.

The Chocolate Indulgence Hunt 

(Approx. 5 hours) Have less time for your Christmas event? Our shorter version of our Bake-Off and hunt will treat your taste buds with a chocolate indulgence. Teams will create delicious chocolates and a luxurious chocolate fondant to enjoy as a group after the one hour baking session. Our professional chefs will be on hand to help you create the mouth-watering recipes before setting off on your Yuletide Treasure Hunt.

Wine, Wisdom & Run!

As an exciting alternative, the Wine, Wisdom  & Run treasure hunt combines an amusing blind wine tasting experience before completing a unique and imaginative treasure hunt in the heart of the city of London. Teams will enjoy 3 different red and 3 white wines before moving onto the next stage of the yuletide treasure hunt. 

As your team explores the city in a way they have not before, various fun wine related questions will challenge their competitiveness as they try to beat other participants on the live scoreboard! A selection of food is available to extend your day when you arrive back to base. Exceptional dining options include Sharing platters, 2 course meals, or a 3 course meal. The hunt can last between 2 and 2 ½ hours after the wine tasting has been completed.

Thank you to Tina and the rest of your team – the evening was an astonishing success and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I think the Cab Clue Trail is a great game – dinner was made very easy since everyone had lots to talk about! At one point we asked each team to tell everyone their cab driver’s ‘personal fact’ – absolutely hysterical cabbies!

Everyone at Team Tactics was extremely helpful and good fun. We had an excellent afternoon from start to finish. The cab drivers were brilliant really joined in and helped out and the champagne hampers are a must!! We all had a really great time and it is something I would definitely recommend and would love to do it all over again. Well done Team Tactics for an excellent service.

Thanks and it was great to meet you and Elena also. Well, everyone so enjoyed the cab trail and being the first item on the agenda it really got people interacting whilst having a fun time. Our Cab Clue Trail. From the initial enquiry through to the end of the event, Hellen and her team were helpful and professional and kept me informed every step of the way. My directors and senior managers thoroughly enjoyed the event. It had the right level of competitiveness to keep them on their toes and it ran like clockwork. The whole event was so well organised and planned that I did not have to worry about anything. Hugo took care of us for the day and he made it very light hearted and he was very confident in what he was doing that we were all put at ease immediately.
The hunt itself was so much fun. It made us bond as a team (crammed into a phone box will do that to you) and we worked hard to beat the other team and claim that first prize.
The competition was fun and the tasks were so funny. Seeing the Director in a film was hilarious and made us connect with him a lot more.
I couldn’t fault Team Tactics for all their support running up to the event and organising the venue and lunch and it was just an amazing day.
Thank you so much, we have already recommended you to other departments at IFDS and I’m sure we will be back for more.
