The Royal Quest is a GPS-powered outdoor team building activity that takes groups on an unforgettable journey through London’s most iconic royal landmarks and history.
Designed for teams of 10 to 500 people, this adventure challenges colleagues to collaborate, communicate and compete as they race across the capital decoding cryptic clues, tackling royal-themed challenges and earning points at every hotspot.

Teams split into smaller groups, each with an iPad Mini loaded with our GPS treasure hunt app.
Challenges only unlock when you physically reach the correct hotspot — no shortcuts. Expect royal-themed tasks including photo challenges, trivia, riddles and puzzles, plus live tracking of rival teams to keep the competitive edge razor sharp.
After two and a half to three hours, teams reunite for a debrief, medal ceremony and a post-event photo link to remember the day.

Everyone did such a great job and I love the fact that its a CSR event but its different to what other companies offer. Anyone who is an animal lover will want to do this. The Team Tactics team were great in helping to organise this session in the limited timescales we have and with the flexibility to run this session from our office, in a shortened timescale. Ellie was a great events lead, bringing energy (as well as getting everyone to settle down where excited!) to our group who were definitely very pleased with the activity. Our team is largely remote which can mean organising events in person can be difficult as we're not always sure who will actually turn up! Team Tactics were patient with this and accommodating as we had to change the numbers a couple of times leading up to the event.

The event itself was fantastically run. I’d arranged to have a telephone call with Jem the day before where we discussed exactly what I wanted to achieve from this workshop and how it would interlink with our main goals as a company for this year. The event was A HIT!!! Everyone really seemed to love it! I’m so so thankful to you and your team for all efforts to make this happen (especially with the late notice). We recently participated in a fantastic team event hosted by Team Tactics. It was an incredible experience for a worthy cause. This was our second time working with them, and once again, they did not disappoint. Ellie and her team were fabulous hosts, ensuring that everyone had a great time. Employee feedback was that they enjoyed seeing other colleagues and the informality of being together. There’s an intrinsic value to that time together that’s often underestimated. Many of our colleagues don’t have an office environment or set working location, and for them it was especially enjoyable. The hunt takes place across Central London, visiting some of the city’s most iconic royal landmarks. Full logistics and meeting point details are confirmed upon booking.
Each team is issued with an iPad Mini loaded with our bespoke GPS treasure hunt app. No technical knowledge is needed — we take care of everything. You have an event manager on the day who is on hand to help.
Britain is notorious for it’s unpredictable weather, after all! The event runs in most weather conditions. We recommend teams dress appropriately and come prepared – a bit of drizzle never stopped a royal occasion.
