Hospitality at Cheltenham Festival
Tuesday 16th March 2010 - Friday 19th March 2010
Cheltenham
The Cheltenham Racing Festival is the biggest race in the National Hunt Season. It provides jumping enthusiasts with twenty of the most prestigious races across the three days. The crowd is now limited to 50,000 per day who come to watch the very best horses from Britain, Ireland and Europe. Be a part of this exciting Festival and join us in superb hospitality at Cheltenham.
The roar of the crowd as the tapes rise for the first race of the Cheltenham Festival each year tells you everything you need to know - 12 months of waiting is over! Over the course of the week, around 230,000 people will be here to witness the action and soak up the atmosphere and across the country, well over £500 million will be wagered on the outcome of the 26 races. Total Prize Money in 2009 is £3.67m, an astonishing average of £141,000 for each Cheltenham Festival race.

Location
The Needham & Needham structure at the Cheltenham Festival is located in the tented village between the Keith Prowse facility and the glass fronted boxes. Our boxes overlook the final two fences in the finishing straight, and offer a magnificent unobstructed view of the whole course. They are unquestionably the best facilities available other than Grandstand Boxes which are owned on an annual basis.
Boxes
We have one 30 seater box with unique balcony facilities and has a bar area and closed circuit TV. This is situated on the fourth floor and will offer top viewing of the course. Each box has sliding glass doors which open onto a communal balcony overlooking the course, incorporating a Tote betting facility at one end. excellent entertaining options at Cheltenham FestivalNotes
- The feature race on Tuesday at the Cheltenham National Hunt Festival is The Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle. It is the most sought after prize anywhere for 2 miles hurdlers. The Irish have won seven of the last ten runnings of this historic contest, but Katchit led home a 1-2-3 for Britain in 2008.
- Wednesday sees the Seasons Holidays Queen Mother Champion Chase take centre stage, as the best two mile chasers produce a fast and furious contest over the famous Cheltenham fences. For many, this is the most exciting race of the year and Master Minded produced one of the greatest performances of the modern era in 2008. In 2009, Wednesday will have seven races for the first time since The Festival became a four day meeting.
- On Thursday, the long distance hurdlers contest The Ladbrokes World Hurdle. Only the brave and the strong prevail in this three mile contest. Inglis Drever made history by winning the race for the third time in 2008 and is being aimed at the race for one last time in 2009. The Ryanair Chase is another Grade 1 highlight on Thursday. Thursday will once again be Ladies Day.
- Then comes Friday and the highlight of the entire Jump season: the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup. This is the race that every owner trainer and jockey dreams of winning and it takes a very special horse to win more than once at the Cheltenham Festival.

Submitted by Steve Mokler Marquee facility at Cheltenham Festival - We had a great time. Thanks for looking after our group. Hope to see you next year! Submitted by John O'Donnell Marquee Restaurant - This is the first time I have used your company and I have been attending Cheltenham for 21 years. I would not dream of now doing Cheltenham any other way and I will use you again next year – the reason for two fold is that I saw no one from Team Tactics, however, myself and three friends thought your arrangements were perfect.
Submitted by Glyn Pink We have used Team Tactics for our corporate events needs for many years, most recently in organising hospitality at the Cheltenham Festival. Tina, Hellen and the team are always happy to assist with any event and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Team Tactics for years to come. Submitted by Name withheld Champagne reception should be considered to be included in the price. A number of guests commented on the poor quality of the food. Submitted by John Lacey Private Needham & Needham Box - Please thank all the Team Tactics staff who provided us with a World-class and efficient hospitality package. The location, food and service was terrific and all our clients and guests had a memorable experience over the 2 days thanks to your attention to detail. We look forward to working with you again in the very near future
Submitted by David Fitzehenry Not particularly a horse racing fan, but it was very enjoyable day out and our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Personally I thought the dining facilities were slightly cramped and overcrowded. Submitted by I Templeton The Platinum Suite - Great two days. Thanks for your help. I can’t really offer any thoughts on how to improve things .... unless you have a tipping service!
