The Goodwood Revival, Lord March’s brainchild, is the world’s largest historic revival race meeting reliving the 1950’s and 1960’s in classic cars, fashion and entertainment.
Relive the glory days at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit.
First held in 1988, The Goodwood Revival is more than a series of classic car races – it’s a leap back in time, a chance to get away from the modern world and revel in the romance of motor racing of bygone days. Soak up this nostalgic atmosphere over the three days of a glorious long weekend in September. Everything is managed in meticulous detail for this historic occasion. The Goodwood Revival features over 200 classic vehicles: 1950’s ice cream vans, 1960’s police cars. Even ambulances, fire tenders and recovery trucks fit the bill!
The lovingly restored circuit is unchanged from its heyday (1948-1966) and great lengths are taken to ensure that everything on-site is exactly as it was including the Goodwood Revival hospitality. From the fashions to the flying machines and the cars to the catering. This is motor racing at its most theatrical, with competitors and enthusiasts dressed in 1950s and 1960s period costume for a weekend of excitement and nostalgia. A great way to entertain your key clients or staff.

Client testimonials
Everyone did such a great job and I love the fact that its a CSR event but its different to what other companies offer. Anyone who is an animal lover will want to do this. I'm so pleased we were able to and just want to say a big thank you to everyone for making our event so amazing! Team Tactics team planned and delivered the day really well. Everyone agreed the day was particularly well-judged regarding the tone which was upbeat despite Pumpkin’s background circumstances. We came away feeling we had made a difference and achieved a great deal, as well as the team having bonded and worked together through the tasks. We were really impressed!Wheels for Walkies
The Team Tactics team were great in helping to organise this session in the limited timescales we have and with the flexibility to run this session from our office, in a shortened timescale. Ellie was a great events lead, bringing energy (as well as getting everyone to settle down where excited!) to our group who were definitely very pleased with the activity. The kick off was very seamless, and Ellie got us out the office quickly (as well as round up equally speedily), which was fantastic to enable us to take advantage of the shortened time we had for the activity vs. the standard. The Royal Quest
WOW WOW WOW!!
Bruce and team were sensational yesterday at our event.
Everyone LOVED them and I have never seen so many people smile and be willing to get involved with an activity before!
They blew us away with the Haka, the messages and information on their tribes and Bruce’s humour – just incredible! The Haka
Our team is largely remote which can mean organising events in person can be difficult as we're not always sure who will actually turn up! Team Tactics were patient with this and accommodating as we had to change the numbers a couple of times leading up to the event.
On the day it was great to have an event planner and the ipads tracking the opposing teams scores were fun but also slick.Yuletide Treasure Hunts
Great experience throughout from the planning before the event right the way through. Would highly recommend for any corporate team building exercise. The team LOVED the Wheelies for Walkies event. Thank you Abbie, Ellie and team.Wheels for Walkies
Thank you so much for two excellent events. The quality of equipment and new resources for super fun games have been amazing - super friendly staff too with great personalities adding to the fun. Everyone who has been involved in these events has thanked me immensely but I know all the thanks is for Team Tactics!London Game of Zones
Really happy with the event - Tim managed to get the entire team engaged and working together, and the 2 hours flew by. Would recommend this event to others looking for a corporate team building event (in fact, I have already recommended Team Tactics to someone at another company).Grab The Grinch
We had a great time yesterday – Ellie and Paige were fantastic. Thank you so much.Lucy
Just to say a huge thank you to you for putting together what most members of my team have called the best away day ever! We had a great time, I for one will be trying to recreate the meals & cocktails over Christmas. We are going to need to top this next year!!Cook, Eat and Be Merry
Huge thanks to you, Melissa, Tracey and the team for all your hard work in putting the Crystal Challenge together. Tracey and the girls were truly amazing yesterday and everyone really enjoyed our day despite the rain. I am pleased the event is over. It’s been a great experience though.
Once again, thank you very much! I look forward to working with you and the team in the future. The Crystal Challenge
The event itself was fantastically run. I’d arranged to have a telephone call with Jem the day before where we discussed exactly what I wanted to achieve from this workshop and how it would interlink with our main goals as a company for this year. It was nice to do something different which involved everyone taking part and working together as well as having some fun at the same time.Circus Skills Workshop
The event was A HIT!!! Everyone really seemed to love it! I’m so so thankful to you and your team for all efforts to make this happen (especially with the late notice). We’re still in the process of gathering formal feedback from the attendees, but so far it’s definitely one of the favorite portions of the programming.
I could not be happier with the result of the team tactics session! I’m so so grateful and I even mentioned to the girls at the event that I would be happy to share Team Tactics information for other admins (&/or event planners) in our company to reach out.
Thanks so much- I know we will work together again!Micki
It was a great day and what we all needed thank you so much for supporting us in making it happen. We will be in touch for the next one!Sati
Thanks to you and the full team for a great session! The team LOVED it!BAT
Thank you so much, we all had a great time on Friday. The weather obviously helped.London Canal Quest
We recently participated in a fantastic team event hosted by Team Tactics. It was an incredible experience for a worthy cause. This was our second time working with them, and once again, they did not disappoint. Ellie and her team were fabulous hosts, ensuring that everyone had a great time. Our team particularly enjoyed seeing the dogs, which added a special touch to the afternoon. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and look forward to working with Team Tactics again in the future.Sasha
I just wanted to say an absolutely huge thank you for making the Bupa Team Health Challenge at the London stadium in September such a success! We were absolutely delighted with the final output and the experience we created for our guests.
We have seen some incredible results with 100% of people saying the day increased their awareness of the benefits of a diverse workforce, 100% people rated the event 10/10 and we achieved an NPS score of 100.
These are remarkable results and you were a huge part of creating this magic! I was so busy I didn’t even get to really see you on the day which was a shame but I know what a truly amazing job you did! Thanks so much again.Samantha
Thank you for the follow up email. It was a great session, I wasn’t actually in the room at the start but I was walking back to the main room and I could hear roars of laughter as they guys were so funny and had captured the audience perfectly. Everyone left the event on a real high and I am very grateful for this.
Please pass on my thanks to Bruce, what a genuinely lovely person.Caroline
Employee feedback was that they enjoyed seeing other colleagues and the informality of being together. There’s an intrinsic value to that time together that’s often underestimated. Many of our colleagues don’t have an office environment or set working location, and for them it was especially enjoyable. We hadn’t held an event like this for three or four years, so Bigger Picture was a valuable team building opportunity not just post-merger, but post-COVID.Carl
From start to finish, working with Team Tactics was fantastic and the team were a joy to work with; they made the booking process very easy and were communicative and pro-active the entire time.
The actual event itself was amazing; a truly great event: the members from Team Tactics were superb, very fun and engaging and Helen and Vicky from the charity Broken Biscuits were wonderful (please pass on our thanks to them for coming and for joining in so much with the team) and how we ever let dear little Minnie and Zoe the dogs out of the building I’ll never know – they were fantastic!!Vicki
I wanted to pass on our thanks for the treasure hunt event. The team thoroughly enjoyed it and the photos are brilliant. The feedback across the board has been excellent too.
Additionally, I would say thank you to Rebecca and Seb. They did a fabulous job setting the teams up with their packs, explaining how the game works and wrapping it up at the end. Great job.Gary
We booked the sound bath for 160 team members (in two groups of 80) The feedback from the team has been phenomenal. Some colleagues were highly sceptical/curious about this type of activity. The staff, the ambience, the instructor - nothing to fault. Highly recommend.Alice
Paige and Marie-Louise were great hosts, they took the time to explain each session thoroughly and were friendly and bubbly throughout! My team took part in The Rat Trap and Around the World, which were great challenges that got my team thinking outside of the box and collaborating.
I would definitely use Team Tactics again!Khia
I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on the fantastic service we received for our group evening event, ""Around the World in 80 Minutes."" From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.
First and foremost, the organisation and planning were impeccable. The team was incredibly attentive to our needs and ensured that every detail was taken care of, making the evening seamless and enjoyable for all attendees.Nichola

Goodwood Revival Hospitality
Once through the gates you enter a different era with thousands of visitors lost in a romantic tribute to fifties and early sixties style and fashion. Amazing flying displays celebrating Goodwood’s past as a Battle of Britain airfield, combined with outstanding historic racing has prompted the international press to herald the Revival as “the best motor racing event in the world”. Enjoy the whole atmosphere Goodwood Revival offers for a day, shopping, cooking demonstrations, coffee bars, vintage fashion, vintage Tesco shopping, classic car shows, exhibition area, period style fun fair, auctions, entertainment, fashion shows, champagne bars. This is the glory that is Goodwood Revival – there really is something for everyone. However, when the revs of a line of classic cars rise and the starter’s flag drops, even the terminally addicted shopper will head out to the circuit to watch the wealth of racing.
Goodwood Revival Provisional Weekend Schedule:
Friday is official practice day. Similar to a F1 Grand Prix. Performances on Friday establish grid positions for the racing over the weekend.
Saturday is all-day racing (save for one qualifying session for the Royal Automobile Club TT race). Highlights include the hugely popular St Mary’s saloon car race featuring a host of famous drivers. Grand Prix cars, sports cars and motorcycles will also race today. Saturday is Ladies’ Day where fashion is almost as important and every bit as glamorous as the racing (see below).
Sunday is all racing action too, but featuring the sensational one-hour, two-driver and star-studded Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration (for sixties GT cars). Grand Prix cars, sports cars and motorcycles also race today and there will be a second round of the St Mary’s saloon car race.
Dressing up for Goodwood Revival in your hospitality facility?
Although it’s not compulsory to dress up in costume, many clients do and go to great lengths to achieve the 1950’s look. The step back into this nostalgic period creates a feeling of being part of the party and the halcyon days of this glamorous time.
Your choice of costume could be a military look, gentrified country style or the 1950’s slick look. Not enough time to prepare? Many men wear a sports jacket and tie. However, I can guarantee that if you dress up you will get more out of your day. This is not the occasion to wear jeans and trainers, you won’t feel comfortable seeing everybody else has made the effort. However, if you are a hospitality guest at Goodwood Revival, essentially you are allowed to wear most things. It’s great fun to trawl through the inter net to find your outfit for the weekend.
