Corporate Cooking Classes in London

If you’re looking for a fun team building event in London, or you want to entertain key clients with the opportunity to learn some new skills, then our corporate cooking events are perfect! Whether the class is there to reward your staff or to entertain your clients in a unique environment, we’ve got a corporate cooking class suitable for your group.

Join us in our purpose-built London kitchens for a 3-hour team building cooking activity that’s a little bit different. We organise everything from the venue and the chef to the menu and drinks. It doesn’t matter whether your team are complete novices or kitchen masters, as the class is suitable for all skill levels.

If the thought of a professional kitchen and chef sounds a bit daunting, don’t worry! Our corporate event cooking class is designed to inspire and encourage participants in a relaxing setting as we let the creative juices flow.

Our corporate cooking classes offer plenty of opportunity for networking and collaborative fun, and groups will be thrilled by their rapid progress as they learn practical culinary skills that ensure success in the kitchen at home.

“I’ve seen how brilliantly cooking brings colleagues together in a natural and engaging way. Our “cooking for the homeless” add-on is especially popular, as it elevates this activity to be a more meaningful, purpose-driven activity.”

What to Expect from Our Team Building Cooking Classes

Once you and your team have arrived and enjoyed the Prosecco reception, it’s time to don your aprons and chefs’ hats!

You’ll be taught the tips and tricks of the trade from an experienced chef, in a fun, hands-on team building cookery class environment.

After the demonstration, it’s your turn! Each team will produce some outstanding food from a selection of menus, whipping up a feast with the help of our chef, and stirring up the competition with some head-to-head challenges.

It’s unlike any corporate cooking challenge you’ve done before, and will certainly be one to remember.

Why You'll Love a Team Building Cooking Class

  1. It naturally builds teamwork. Watch as individuals form their own roles: someone leads, someone preps, someone plates up. These coordinating tasks require good communication and a pinch of trust too.
  2. It breaks down the hierarchy. A director in an apron is just a person in an apron. Out of the office, levels of seniority disappear, allowing teams to connect as people.
  3. There’s a role for everyone. It doesn’t matter about skill level or physical ability – everyone can just pitch in.
  4. It can help the local community. Our cooking for the homeless add-on turns a cooking team building event into a meaningful one.

FAQs

How to Choose A Corporate Cooking Class

With its incredible array of restaurants and venues, there’s no shortage of options when it comes to team building cookery classes in London. But there are a few key things to consider, including:

  • Group size – Some venues can only accommodate small numbers. Our cooking class can take 12+ people, but other classes may be smaller. You may also want to check that the provider can actually cater for your head count without the activity feeling too rushed or crowded. When you book with us, the whole venue is exclusively yours for the event.
  • The facilities – The event isn’t just a cooking class, it’s a team building cooking exercise, which means the chef and event staff should be actively facilitating collaboration and have the means and equipment to do so. This could include running head-to-head challenges, keeping the energy high and ensuring everyone is getting involved.
  • The menu variety – Before committing to a cooking class, it’s best to check the menu and that it caters to all diets before booking. Our menus span Thai, Japanese, Chinese cuisines and more, with bespoke options available.
  • The price – Costs can add up quickly, particularly when you’re choosing lots of optional extras. Look for clear, all-inclusive pricing that covers venue hire, professional chefs, equipment, ingredients, and drinks. Our packages include exclusive venue hire, a Prosecco reception, wine or beers with the meal, and everything your team needs to cook three dishes.
  • The experience – When booking cooking team building activities, choose a company that knows what they’re doing. Team Tactics has been running corporate events since 1996, and our cooking classes have been enjoyed by hundreds of teams in that time.

CORPORATE COOKING CLASSES LONDON FAQs

Founded in 1996, we’ve spent almost three decades perfecting the art of bringing teams together. During this time, we uncovered what works, what falls flat and how to read a room, so your event flows as smoothly as melted butter through a sieve. Over those years, we’ve earned the trust of some of the world’s most recognised organisations, from Sky and Amazon to Google, LinkedIn and Waitrose.

That track record is reflected in our Trustpilot rating, which we earn naturally by event, rather than through incentives. From your initial enquiry to the day itself, our team is responsive, proactive and genuinely invested in making everything go well for you.

Our charity team building events like Wheels for Walkies and Clean Water For All have even been recognised by the industry’s leading bodies for being impactful and supportive of the local community.
