We have all been working from home for the last three months and we will most likely all be working from home until the end of the year. It is important to make sure you have all the right equipment like a desk, desk chair, strong Wi-Fi connection, printer, and noise – cancelling headphones. Because we care about people and we love to give advice here are our favourite work from home spaces. Sit back and get inspired by our list of cool working spaces!
Convert An Old Wardrobe
Have you got an old wardrobe you were thinking of chucking away? Well why not use it and turn it into an amazing working space. Living in the century where it is cool to upcycle this would make the perfect working from home desk space. This idea is perfect if you live in a house or a flat where space is limited it can be your hideaway office, you will be able to close the doors after a hard day at work.
For The Plant Lovers
Plants are amazing! They improve productivity and job satisfaction by 15% and they increase happiness. To top it all off they also help us breath, so they are a great addition to have around the house. You could add them to your work from home space and brighten up the room you are working from.
Looking after your posture is very important and if you do not have a desk chair you need to be more conscious, one way to do this is have a cool standing up desk. Standing up is a great way to keep you proactive upbeat and it is a great way to make sure you are standing tall with your amazing posture. It has also been said by Harvard Health publication that “While standing, the number of calories burned was only slightly higher than while sitting — about 88 calories/hour” so it turns out you burn more calories while standing, how great is that? Work and burn! You can find many different forms of stand-up desk online or you could make yourself one if you are feeling creative.
The Outdoor Home Office
If you are lucky enough to have the space to set up outside, then we recommend you do. Obviously, this is weather dependent and if your Wi-Fi connection extends that far. Being outside is great for productivity it is also great for your wellbeing. Working from home you can sometimes find yourself inside all day.
Turn Your Spare Room Into A Home Office
It is a luxury to have an extra room so if you are fortunate enough to have one then it would be a great time to combine the spare room into a working space and somewhere your guests can stay. This does depend on the size of the room but there are many great looks out there you can pick from. It could be as simple as putting a small table up to the wall so it doesn’t take up too much space.
