Inspired by the original BBC Robot Wars series, Team Tactics Robot Wars Team Building Challenge is creative and destructive in equal measure.
Teams design, build and customise their own robot before battling it out in three different challenges. Only one machine will leave the arena as Robot Wars champion.
As seen on TV, this Robot Wars inspired event is ideal for a half day event. Robot Wars adds real excitement to your corporate event with all members of the team involved from start to finish as they build and customise their machines and then pick up the controls with their robots fate in their hands. Will they reign supreme or be smashed to pieces?
Guided by the technical know-how of a former UK Robot Wars Champion and competing in an authentic arena this is an event to engage, inspire and excite.

Everyone did such a great job and I love the fact that its a CSR event but its different to what other companies offer. Anyone who is an animal lover will want to do this. The Team Tactics team were great in helping to organise this session in the limited timescales we have and with the flexibility to run this session from our office, in a shortened timescale. Ellie was a great events lead, bringing energy (as well as getting everyone to settle down where excited!) to our group who were definitely very pleased with the activity. The kick off was very seamless, and Ellie got us out the office quickly (as well as round up equally speedily), which was fantastic to enable us to take advantage of the shortened time we had for the activity vs. the standard.The Royal Quest

Bruce and team were sensational yesterday at our event.
Everyone LOVED them and I have never seen so many people smile and be willing to get involved with an activity before!

Our team is largely remote which can mean organising events in person can be difficult as we're not always sure who will actually turn up! Team Tactics were patient with this and accommodating as we had to change the numbers a couple of times leading up to the event.
On the day it was great to have an event planner and the ipads tracking the opposing teams scores were fun but also slick.Yuletide Treasure Hunts

The event itself was fantastically run. I’d arranged to have a telephone call with Jem the day before where we discussed exactly what I wanted to achieve from this workshop and how it would interlink with our main goals as a company for this year. The event was A HIT!!! Everyone really seemed to love it! I’m so so thankful to you and your team for all efforts to make this happen (especially with the late notice). We’re still in the process of gathering formal feedback from the attendees, but so far it’s definitely one of the favorite portions of the programming.

We recently participated in a fantastic team event hosted by Team Tactics. It was an incredible experience for a worthy cause. This was our second time working with them, and once again, they did not disappoint. Ellie and her team were fabulous hosts, ensuring that everyone had a great time. I just wanted to say an absolutely huge thank you for making the Bupa Team Health Challenge at the London stadium in September such a success! We were absolutely delighted with the final output and the experience we created for our guests.

Thank you for the follow up email. Employee feedback was that they enjoyed seeing other colleagues and the informality of being together. There’s an intrinsic value to that time together that’s often underestimated. Many of our colleagues don’t have an office environment or set working location, and for them it was especially enjoyable. Robot Wars works best for groups of 20-90 people. Teams of 4-6 people build and battle one robot together, so we can scale the event to your group size.
Not at all. Our former UK Robot Wars Champion guides you through everything step-by-step. Whether your team is full of engineers or complete beginners, everyone gets stuck in and has a great time.
It’s a half-day event, typically 2-2.5 hours. This includes building time, customisation, and all three arena challenges with plenty of time for the battles everyone’s waiting for.
We bring the arena to you. Robot Wars can be set up at your venue, a hired event space, or we can recommend suitable locations across London and the UK.
Everything you need: all robot-building materials and tools, safety equipment, the arena setup, expert facilitation from a former champion, and of course, the battles. You just bring your team and competitive spirit.
That’s part of the fun! Teams have repair time between challenges to fix damage and adjust their strategy. Some of the best team bonding happens during those frantic repair sessions.
The event naturally brings out collaboration, communication, and creative problem-solving under time pressure—all the skills that matter back at work. But unlike typical team building exercises, people are so engaged in the challenge that the bonding happens organically. They’re not “doing team building.”
