Ice Carving - The 'Cool' Team Building Event
A mobile event so available at venues throughout the UK
Ice Carving...
Who - groups up to 200 working in teams of 2-5 people
What - This can either be a serious team building activity or a fun ‘get stuck in’ kind of an event. Each team will have the opportunity ‘to try their hands’ at carving a masterpiece Ice Sculpture over a one hour time deadline.
Where – venue of your choice, previous venues have included hotels, conference venues, bars restaurants throughout the UK and overseas.
How - using a carving kit, chisels, leather gloves and goggles with close supervision by our crew!

Our Ice carving actvity is perfect as a conference add-on or stand alone team building event. Our professional ice carving instructors will demonstate and guide participants through the skills and techniques required to create their very own ice sculture. Unfortunately, scultures cannot be taken home!
For a reduced cost event, we can offer this activity without the Ice Sculptor doing an on-site demonstration. This would involve using a finished piece for reference and our event manager guiding the participants through the process. Please contact Team Tactics for further details.

Package Includes
- Delivery and Set-Up of Ice Sculptors prior to event

Package Itinerary
- 00.00: Introduction (5 min) Introduction to the ice breaker team. The opportunity to explain the timeline & procedures that will take place over the course of the team building exercise.
- 00.05: Professional demonstration by Ice sculptor (10 min) The lead sculptor will demonstrate carving techniques on a horse’s head to reveal ‘how it should be done’
- 00.15: Team building / carving to create a horse’s head The participants will have the opportunity to ‘try their hands’ at carving to create a masterpiece horse’s head!
- 00.45: Judging and Winners determined (optional prize – provided by client) 00.50 Team Building exercise complete
The perfect conference add-on or 'ice breaker'Additional Info
OPTIONAL EXTRA…
Personalising the sculpture e.g. Sonic the Hedgehog
This would entail a sculptor working on the new sculpture prior and creating new casts for your base template.
The cost of this extra would be £500 plus vat

I would recommend the ice sculpting for team building and bit of fun while bringing out the competitve side of people!! Submitted by Anya Baynham This caused a great amount of competitiveness among the team, which was fun to watch. Also it was great to be able to tailor the activity to our needs (ie. using our brand logo for the carving). This is not an activity I’ve seen anywhere else so was really fun and different for the whole team - no one had done this before. |
