Dash and Splash Days
Exclusive lakeside facility in the heart of the Cotswolds
The island consists of 120 acres of land and lake based activities centred around a Caribbean themed island. We can look after group sizes of 20 - 5000 guests with activities according to the theme of the day.
It is easy to access, situated just 20 minutes off the M4 at Junction 15. With its 120 acres of spring-fed lake with 15 islands, sandy beaches, tropical palm trees, lapping water, woodlands and many purpose built facilities, Dash and Splash is the dream of a corporate event come true. This venue is also a Conservation project, an award winning designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and wildfowl refuge.
Centered around the unique facilities, Team Tactics would suggest both a land and water based activities. Each activity is designed to be run in teams of 6-10 guests and as such have built in a competitive element
Following the activities and a wacky finale, teams return and drinks are served from the thatched pavilion and a short prize-giving takes place. For the winning team, it's Champagne in the tub with all the team!
However one of the most appealing aspects of this day, is that two teams will compete on a head to head on each of the activities.
Option 1 Dash & Splash Day
Teams Compete in a Dragon Boat RaceOption 1 - Dash & Splash Day
The emphasis is on fun, relaxation and having a good time. Nothing is expected of anyone that might spoil their enjoyment of the day and there is a role for everyone regardless of physical fitness or ability. At each activity, teams will compete on a head to head with one other team to make it more interactive and fun.
Although there are a whole host of activities that can be selected on the day, Team Tactics suggest that four activities - Breakouts, Tasks, Aqua Relay's and Dragon Boats. These will give guests the a fun and varied day with just the right balence between land and sea!

Teams Collide in the Raft Race Finale!Additional Info
Breakout Course
This involves two teams competing in parallel through a series of identical obstacle and tasks. Guests have to traverse a course on all terrain skis, escape through an electric field, cross piranha-infested water (you don't believe us?) by building a bridge and recover a highly valuable canister. Not much to ask, but definitely a team event.
Aqua-Relay
Set on a course by the beach, each team is allocated one of four different 'craft', banana boats, Rowing Skiffs, Kayaks and Canadian Canoes. When the whistle blows its all hands of deck for a relay race; everyone must have been in each craft before the race is won. A beach ball is your relay baton.
Tasks
This needs more brain than brawn and the team need to all work together to succeed as none of the challenges can be completed by one person. An ideal selection for people who want to pit their wits and logical thinking ability, and a good choice to combine with more physical events to give the perfect contrast.
Dragon Boat Racing
Up to 20 competitors sitting side by side in a forty-foot boat. A drummer, sitting at the prow, beat out the time on a huge drum. A helmsman in the stern keeps the boat on course with a giant paddle. A carved dragon's head and tail adding length majesty and colour to the boat. The boat is powered down a measured course. This is Dragon Boat racing - all ages, male and female - no previous experience necessary and it's great fun.
Extra Options
- OPTIONAL EVENT EXTENSION - This is an option where guests can stay on the island whilst being entertained by a steel band and limbo dancers. A bonfire is lit on the water's edge, candle flares are lit and of course a full Caribbean bar is open in the thatched pavilion. We would suggest having a buffet lunch with the BBQ in the evening if you chose to have this extension.
