Team Tactics are pleased to offer teambuilding activities to reward your staff and build communication, leadership and planning skills. Our various team events are a great way to help your staff find new ways of working together more successfully.

Unlike many film experiences, this day is as near to professional TV as you can get. Everybody gets involved and has a role to play. Like real TV, everything is time discipline, you are not on location making a film to bring back - this is live TV and we go to air at 5pm on the day.

It is all about teamwork, knowledge and creativity...

Come and find out. Join our TV experience day. Not only will you learn a lot you will actually help make a TV studio programme.

Package Itinerary

A typical TV team day:

10.00 - Coffee and introductory explanation of how the studio works, who is who and what happens next… The importance of team work is emphasised and the group are given a deadline they will have to work on to complete the given programme format by 5pm. The group are working as if it is real TV. The team will have a tour of the facility and the TV Galllery, the importance of talkback, then studio floor, studio discipline (red light), sound, lighting and VT areas and most importantly all safety aspects
11.00 - Each person will be given a copy of the programme detail, including story, dialogue, camera cards, autocue scripts etc. Next a walk through of how a professional would set up his team for this recording.
11.30 - The team is formed by each candidate filling one of the following roles detailed above.
2.00pm - Rehearsal until the big count down to five o’clock!
5.00pm - Live recording!
6.00pm - Finish and everybody will be exhausted and can’t wait to get to the bar

	On the studio floor, the presenters prepare their speeches. Look for the mics in their ears		Television Day experience is all about learning the ropes in an actual TV environment
	The control room, the heart of the action where the director and his team seat		Lots of TV monitors to make sure everything is in control, or not!!
	The directors studio overlooks the main studio where the recording will take place		Great team building for your staff - they will never watch TV in the same way
	Participants will actually manage and use the actual film set used in day to day TV		At the end of day, its all about fun. We promise you participation, adrenalin and laughter!

Overall a fab event – the first hour of the day was a little slow and uncertain – probably worthwhile taking a look at where there is any way in which this could be shortened or handled in a different way. Once activities began, day and experience was fantastic. We’ve had plenty of great feedback from all involved.
