Teams must not only create their own product, but must build a brand around it to wow their target audience, creating their own marketing plan and designing an attractive label for their packaging before they pitch their brand to our marketing expert and explain why their product would fly off the shelf. After a tasting session the winning team will be awarded with the coveted silver scoop award.

With a selection of possible flavour combinations the Build a Brand Challenge will stimulate a team’s business skills and their taste buds.

Ice Cream Making – Build a Brand Challenge

About the Event

Teams begin by inventing a new flavour from the selection of ingredients, teams are encouraged to be as original as possible and you can be surprised even the most bizarre of combinations prove to be a winner. Using top quality ice cream making facilities teams must develop their brand by giving it a catchy name and designing and making the most aesthetically pleasing packaging. Ingredients and packaging materials will be priced so teams must carefully consider all costs when choosing a price to ensure the best profit.

Teams must pitch their brand new ice cream concept including a marketing strategy and brand ideas to the judges before performing their very own advert. Bonus points can also be earned by completing various team games such as an ice cream related quiz and a ”name that tune” including popular songs performed in the style of ice cream van chimes. After a very important tasting session the winning team will be awarded with the legendary silver scoop award.

Team tactics where really helpful and friendly.
The groups really enjoyed the ice cream making and filming the adverts. There was something for all members to do, those that were not creative could do the marketing strategy for example. The quiz and guess the ice cream music where that extra bit of fun which all groups enjoyed.
The purpose of the event was to get the groups to have fun and work together as a team, which they all did.
Would highly recommend team tactics to other areas of the business.
